1. About this policy

Easy Remember is a mobile application published by BezimeniIT. It lets you save notes, links and selected images, edit your saved content, organize it into topics and subtopics, and search your library.

This policy explains how Easy Remember on Android and iPhone handles information. The Android package identifier is com.bezimeniit.easyremember. It describes features available in this release, not planned future features.

Easy Remember does not require an app account. It does not operate its own cloud library or synchronization service. Most library functions work on your device, but optional online previews, external links and operating-system backups can involve other providers. “Saved on your device” does not mean that every action is offline.

2. Information stored on your device

The app stores the following information in its local database or app-owned file storage:

  • Saved titles, notes, descriptions, original shared text and original or added links.
  • Images you deliberately import or share to the app.
  • Downloaded link-preview images, site icons and preview details.
  • Topics, subtopics, item memberships, importance choices, pins and ordering information.
  • App settings and answers you provide during onboarding.
  • Temporary drafts, interrupted-import recovery records, and edit history used for undo and redo.

The local database is used for saving, editing, organization and keyword search. Imported images are copied into app-owned storage so the saved copy can remain available independently of its source.

This release does not upload your private notes, copied photos or library database to a BezimeniIT library server. It does not send your notes or images to an AI service. It does not include advertising or an app analytics service. It does include crash and error reporting, described in section 4, which you can turn off, and optional in-app purchases for Easy Remember Pro, described in section 5.

3. Online link details, images and site icons

Automatic previews

Automatic link details and online images are enabled by default.

When you share a supported public link, the app may contact its website to retrieve a title, description, preview image or site icon. For recognized YouTube video links, including supported Shorts links, it requests public metadata through YouTube’s oEmbed endpoint using the video’s URL.

On iPhone and iPad, the Easy Remember share sheet makes this same request while you are saving, under the same setting, so the title is ready before you tap Save. Your notes, topics and images are not sent with that request.

Images and site icons can be downloaded from hosts different from the original website. A previously saved thumbnail that is available only online may also be requested when you open an item.

Information disclosed by these requests

The receiving website, YouTube or image/icon provider receives the requested URL, your IP address and ordinary network request information. The requested URL may contain identifiers, search parameters or other information included in the link. General website URLs are not guaranteed to have all identifying parameters removed. Recognized YouTube metadata requests use a normalized video URL.

The app does not attach your private note text, topic names, local search queries or copied photo bytes to these preview requests. However, information already contained in the requested URL is transmitted as part of that request.

These providers handle requests and any server logs under their own privacy practices. BezimeniIT does not control how long an independent website or provider retains its logs. YouTube and other Google services are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.

Your preview controls

You can turn off Automatic link details and online images in Settings before saving a link. With this setting off:

  • Links can still be saved without fetching new automatic preview details.
  • Previously saved online-only thumbnails do not load passively.
  • Images and preview details already saved locally can remain visible.
  • You can choose Load online image once to explicitly request an online image.

Turning the setting off does not retract requests already sent, universally cancel work already in progress, or automatically delete preview details already stored on your device. It is not a device-wide offline mode.

4. Crash and error reports

Crash and error reporting is on by default. You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share crash reports.

When the app crashes or runs into an unexpected error, it sends a technical report to Sentry, the error-monitoring service BezimeniIT uses (operated by Functional Software, Inc.). We use these reports only to find and fix problems in the app.

A report can contain:

  • The type of error and its technical message. Links, e-mail addresses and file paths on your device are removed from the message before it is sent.
  • The part of the app’s own code where the error happened (a stack trace), and a fixed label for the feature and operation, such as “editor / autosave”.
  • The type of screen that was open, such as “item details”. It does not say which item, topic or search.
  • Device and app information: device model, operating system version, app version and build, memory and storage state, and the time of the error.
  • A random installation identifier created by the reporting software. It is used to count how many installations are affected by a problem. It is not linked to your name, e-mail address or any account.

A report never contains your saved titles, notes, descriptions, links, topic names, search text, images, screenshots or screen recordings.

Like any internet service, Sentry receives your IP address when a report is sent. We configure Sentry not to store it. Reports are kept for up to 30 days under our current Sentry plan and are then deleted by Sentry. Sentry processes reports under Sentry’s Privacy Policy.

Turning the setting off stops sending immediately, and reports are not sent at later launches while it stays off. Reports already sent are not recalled from Sentry. To ask about or request deletion of reports related to your device, contact us (section 12).

5. Easy Remember Pro purchases

Easy Remember Pro is optional. You can buy it as a monthly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Everything that is free stays free without it.

Payments are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. BezimeniIT never receives your card details, name or e-mail address from a purchase.

To check whether Pro is active on your device, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service operated by RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat receives:

  • A random app user identifier created on your device. It is not linked to your name, e-mail address or any account.
  • Your purchase and subscription history for Easy Remember from Google Play or the App Store: product, price, currency, dates, renewal state and store transaction identifiers.
  • Device and app information needed to process the purchase, such as operating system and version, app version, store country and language.
  • Your IP address, as with any internet request.

RevenueCat never receives your saved titles, notes, links, topics, images or search text. The app does not use advertising identifiers, and purchase information is not used for advertising or tracking.

RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf under RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy. Google and Apple process payments under their own privacy policies. To cancel a subscription, use your Google Play or App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

6. Reminders, Daily rediscover and App Lock (Pro)

Remind me schedules a notification on your device for a saved item you choose. The reminder is created by your phone’s operating system. It is not sent through a push server, and BezimeniIT does not receive it. The notification shows the item’s title, unless App Lock is on, in which case it shows only a general message.

Daily rediscover, if you turn it on, schedules one notification a day, a week ahead, each naming one item you saved a while ago. The app picks the items on your device; nothing is sent anywhere. With App Lock on, these notifications do not show the item’s title.

Topic reminders work the same way for a whole topic. For a saved link, a reminder can show an Open link button, which opens that link in your browser or its app.

Weekly review, if you turn it on, shows one notification on Sunday evening with how many things you saved that week and how many you have not opened yet. To count that, the app records on your device when you open an item; this is not sent anywhere.

On iPhone, you can choose Remind me in the Easy Remember share sheet. The time is stored with the share on your device and scheduled when you open the app.

Reminder notifications can show Snooze 1 h and Done buttons. On Android, tapping them is handled on your device in the background; on iPhone, they open the app.

App Lock asks for Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint or your device passcode when Easy Remember opens. The check is performed by your phone’s operating system. Easy Remember only receives whether it succeeded; it never receives or stores your face, fingerprint or passcode data.

7. Opening links and choosing images

Opening an original or added link passes that URL to the external browser or application selected by your device. That destination operates under its own terms and privacy practices.

The app receives content that you choose to share to it and uses the system image picker to let you select an image. It does not need to scan your whole photo library. Access and permission prompts depend on the device, operating system and source application.

Editing or removing the copy in Easy Remember does not delete the original image or content held by another app, website or provider.

8. Retention, Recently removed and permanent cleanup

Active library content

Active items remain in the app’s local storage until you remove them or the app’s data is cleared. Removing a reference to an image from a note does not necessarily delete the original attachment; it may remain available with the item.

Recoverable removal

Choosing Remove first moves an item, topic or subtopic to Recently removed, where it is hidden from active lists and can be restored while it remains recoverable.

You can select a retention period in Settings:

  • 1 day
  • 7 days — the default
  • 30 days
  • 90 days
  • Never delete

The period is measured from when the content was removed. Changing it also affects earlier removals. Shortening the period may therefore make previously removed content eligible for permanent cleanup. Never delete prevents new automatic expiry of recoverable removals; it does not restore content already permanently removed.

If an upgrade finds removals retained by an earlier app version, automatic expiry is paused until you confirm a duration in Settings. You may select the currently displayed duration or Never delete.

Permanent cleanup

The app checks for expired removals at startup. It processes cleanup in limited batches; a large backlog, interrupted operation or storage failure may require later starts to complete. Deletion is not scheduled for an exact moment while the app is closed.

When an item expires, cleanup permanently removes its local database content, including its notes, links, memberships, pin and edit history. Its app-owned attachments, preview images and site icons are queued for removal after the database change succeeds. Unfinished file cleanup is recorded locally and retried on later starts; a file still referenced by retained content is not removed.

Permanent removal cannot be undone. Undo/redo is not a backup of permanently removed content. This cleanup is not a guarantee of secure erasure of storage media, operating-system caches, copies held by another app or provider, or backups.

Topics and subtopics

Removing a topic also removes its active subtopics from the active topic list, but does not delete the saved items assigned to them.

Before expiry, restoring the topic also restores subtopics removed in that same operation. Earlier independently removed subtopics are not automatically restored with it.

Once a topic or subtopic is permanently removed, its organization and item connections cannot be recovered through Recently removed. Surviving saved items remain in the library.

Undo and redo history

Undo/redo history is separate from Recently removed. Its default duration is four hours. Settings offers 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day or 1 week for new history entries. Existing entries retain their stored expiry.

Expired history is unavailable for undo and redo and is cleaned up during editor operations rather than necessarily at the exact expiry time. Committing a new edit after Undo clears that item’s redo branch.

9. Operating-system backup and device transfer

Android system backup is allowed by Easy Remember. Depending on your device, operating-system settings and backup provider, app data may be copied to a cloud backup or transferred to another device. This can include local database content and saved images.

This is controlled separately from Easy Remember’s preview setting and is not an app-operated synchronization service. Backup limits, exclusions and restore behavior vary. A complete backup or successful restoration of your entire library is not guaranteed.

Removing content in Easy Remember does not erase copies already held by an operating-system backup provider. Manage backups, transferred copies and originals through the relevant device settings or provider.

This release does not offer complete in-app export/import or an erase-all-library function. Keep independent copies of irreplaceable material.

10. Clearing app data and uninstalling

Android’s Clear storage function or uninstalling the app can remove the locally stored library and settings. Later restoration may depend on your operating-system backup and device-transfer settings.

BezimeniIT cannot remotely inspect, restore or erase a library that exists only on your device. Contacting support does not give us access to that library.

Uninstalling or clearing app storage does not delete original files held by other apps, content on linked websites, or independently retained backup copies.

11. Security

Easy Remember relies on the operating system’s application sandbox and your device’s security. Keep your device updated and protected by a screen lock.

The app does not provide its own database or attachment encryption and does not claim end-to-end encryption. Saved links can use HTTP or HTTPS, and external destinations have their own security practices. Do not assume that every saved link or external connection is encrypted.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Avoid placing credentials, access tokens or other sensitive information in a URL that you allow the app to request for an online preview.

12. Contacting support

You can contact BezimeniIT at developer@bezimeniit.com.

If you email us, the information you choose to send—including your email address, message and any attachments—is received through the email services involved. Do not send private library content unless you deliberately choose to share it.

We use information sent to support to respond to your request, troubleshoot the issue and handle related privacy or security matters. We retain correspondence only as reasonably necessary for those purposes and any applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of information you sent us; any required retention or limitations will be explained in our response.

Support email is separate from the local library. Sending a support request does not automatically upload your library.

13. Your choices and privacy requests

You can control what to save, edit, organize, remove or restore, and whether automatic online previews are enabled. You can manage operating-system backup through your device or provider settings.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information, such as access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing. Contact developer@bezimeniit.com to make a request concerning information handled by BezimeniIT. We may need information sufficient to verify and respond to your request.

Requests concerning a website’s logs, an external application or an operating-system backup may also need to be directed to that provider. We cannot delete data from an independent provider’s systems on your behalf.

14. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the app’s data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. New features involving different data handling will be described before they are presented as part of this policy.

The current policy is available at bezimeniit.com/products/easy-remember-privacy-policy/.
